A STRANGER

I came to find a friend

but surprised to find no one,

my eyes met your eyes then

and I was lost for a moment.

That look on your face held me captive,

I simply frowned while you looked receptive.

My mind got engrossed in how to appeal

But the vilest thing was yet to reveal.

You showed no signs of friendship

may be you wanted to take me inn.

You jumped off the chair and moved towards me,

while I was still planning to appeal.

Then a voice just startled me,

and there you were next to me.

Suddenly the cops gathered in disguise,

and you were gone in the nick of time.

My mind again got engrossed in what just happened

but the vilest thing is yet to happen.
