A spring’s welcome

Clear skies and lushful meadows,

The flowers blooming is the spring’s Hello!

Birds soaring and sun shining

While you go out to meet your joyful fellow.

People skip down the street with a friend or two, Butterflies fly is different shades and hues

A pungent smell flows through the air, all sweet and nice Dew drops sparkle on leaves at sunrise.

The birds tweet a pleasant tune,

Chirping a sweet, mellow song

The school’s spring break is due

While children fleet all day long.

Blossoms and berries are bare in sight,

The lake gleams under the moonlight

The wind whispers throughout the night

And dawn returns with warm sunlight.
