A Solitary Life

By Mr. Shailesh Rajendra Wadkar

You possessed divine innocence,

You made me feel the presence of Eden,

Your philia fetched me closed to your heart,

Your inspiriting words ever showed me

A newborn hope and desire.

Notwithstanding, bestowing

All the priceless treasures,

You enabled me to travel my life solitarily,

Your given treasures were all desolate

And worthless without you.

Every treasure reminds me

Of your ever presence,

Your presence reminds me

Of every moment,

Every moment reminds me

Of a newborn hope,

And every hope reminds me of a Solitary Life.
