A Silly Girl Like Me (07.09.26)

Are you a silly girl like me?

I’ve dreamed of a boyfriend since I was eight,

Animals and theme parks are the things I’m afraid,

I eat loads of peanut butter, fried chicken and fries,

I want long red hair like Sam in Totally Spies.

Are you a silly girl like me?

I used to write a diary but failed the aesthetic,

But when it was gone at school, I started to panic,

I’m talented yet shy and most times I’m loud,

When my crush likes someone else, I’ll turn away and pout.

Are you a silly girl like me?

I’ll be in college scared to drive,

Posting pictures just to archive,

I pass my exams thinking I’m smart,

Every time I breakdown, it takes a while to restart.

If you’re a silly girl like me,

Let me tell you you’re not crazy,

You’re too big for a small dream,

For in the crop you are the cream.

But you don’t want to be a silly girl like me,

I am honest but I pretend,

I sometimes lie but still agree,

The kind of friend you can unfriend,

So you be you and don’t be me. (silly)
