A Plea for Peace

Fear, death and destruction

Complete infrastructural

shut down,

Loss of uncountable lives

Because of decisions made that went so wrong!

Bomb blasts, sirens and flames

Babies being born during a time of nuclear games,

Cannot imagine a life with such uncertainty

Grief is pounding us down with intense gravity!

Nuclear weapons and economic fight for supremacy,

Are the destroyers of world peace,

Dragging the life of soldiers mercilessly

Killing civilians who had no reason to bleed.

We are being displaced like torn papers from books,

Life, homes and entire cities

Are uprooted from the conclave of an economy

And even our mother nature bleeds!

War is not a solution

It is a warning, a threat and social failure

It is a clash between egotistical minds

Who wish to establish their supremacy over human kind.

War has to end soon

We cannot lose population because of goons,

Fragments of dead lives on the land of war

Lie tattered amongst buildings burnt in war.

We cannot accept this war like this

It is not a news that can be read and flipped,

Pressure for peace must become louder than war

Our leaders of nations must unite against war!
