A Moment In Time

The sunlight streaming in

through the sunshine yellow drapes,

dappled her tan skin

in shades of light and dark brown,

as she lay on her side

on the cottony white bed,

her legs tangoing

in the cream cotton sheets,

her mind vacillating

between wistful nostalgia

and blissful memories,

a smile quirking up her lips

one moment, and

turning down the next,

taking her on a sojourn unknown.
