Sunlight falls upon the earth,

Clouds drift across the boundless sky,

The moon glows softly through the night,

While stars gleam in the velvet night.

Darkness brings only faint light,

Fading colors paint the world in gloom,

When the light begins to fade,

Even its faintest glow disappears.

So too, love begins to lose its light,

Red flowers bloom in barren soil,

The flowers begin to fade,

And they wither away.
