A letter to my heart

By Shruti Rungta

Dear heart

It’s been long time we talked right?

Sorry I have been too much of a mind lately. How have you been?

Still in the dilemma of , what deeply you crave from life? What actually moves you?

Still dreaming about that perfect companion, falling head over heels for you,

but also not ready to take that leap of faith?

It’s okay. It’s okay to be scared.

It’s okay if you want to go slow and let time decide what suits best for you.

It’s okay if you believe in those moments of clarity before jumping onto conclusions.

Do not let the noise of your past ,

be the lullaby to your present.

You need not to suppress your own desires, while absorbing other people’s feelings .

It’s okay if you believe in loving yourself, the same as you love the other person.

How you feel about yourself is defined by you.

Express yourself. Be true to yourself.

Do not neglect yourself in the process of gaining the love or affection from the other person.

Do not say yes, just to avoid conflict.

Because you matter, your existence matters.

You have every right to protect your energy.

Love with passion , but grow with compassion. Don’t rush things, which you want to last forever.

Love yourself and let love find you all over again.

Remember every cloud has its rainbow, waiting for you to remove the fog and smile at it someday

Yours
