I greatly admire our honourable Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi. He has been serving as a role model for over a decade now. His unwavering devotion to the motherland is invincible. I was only nine years old when he was elected the Prime Minister of India for the first time in 2014. His first mission, the Swachh Bharat Mission, was then launched. I was influenced positively and began to follow it as there were campaigns in my school regarding it. I still remember how loudly and responsibly I was sloganeering during the drive. From then on, I stopped littering in the open and did not allow anyone to do so in front of me. I couldn't have felt more accountable to my surroundings as a child. To date, I practice the mission as it must prevail.
I am eager to cultivate the exceptional administrative and decision-making skills demonstrated by Mr. PM. His instincts deserve commendation for his decisions, whether counterattacking rivals or reforming current laws for the nation's betterment. I see him as an ideal leader. He is humble and considerate of the environment.
The esteemed G20 Summit was hosted in my state, New Delhi, during 2022-2023, showcasing our commitment to global collaboration and leadership. Many international delegates attended as it continued, making it a source of pride for us as citizens to witness our nation thriving and gaining positive praise on a larger scale. The event was well organized and wrapped up flawlessly, thanks to the efforts and commitment of our Prime Minister and his cabinet, as well as the support of our multinational guests. Embracing the theme "वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम्," which means "The World is One Family," we embody this sentiment.
The Prime Minister has launched several initiatives and skill development internships for the youth. I have benefited by participating in quizzes on various current affairs on the government portal and have received certificates for my participation. Additionally, I have applied for an official internship with NITI Aayog focused on tourism and culture, as it aligns with my interests and provides an opportunity to learn and promote our cultural heritage. It is a fun and exciting way to enhance our lives with knowledge.
We are approaching the Mahakumbh festival 2025, scheduled from January 13, 2024, to February 26, 2025. This festival is one of the holiest in India, occurring just once every 12 years. It attracts over 400 million pilgrims worldwide to Uttar Pradesh, India, which is extreme. Our leaders, the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, have made outstanding arrangements to welcome the world, demonstrating their supreme and responsible leadership and fellowship. I learned that a true leader, under high pressure, remains composed and focuses on achieving the best outcomes by minimizing worries. This approach is essential for effective execution and success.
Criticism is an essential part of life as a leader. It helps them overcome negativity and seek improvement. While it may bring them down at times, good leaders never let it hold them back. Prime Minister Modi has faced considerable criticism for his failures, which overshadowed his lot of achievements. I sometimes disagree with his strategies due to my differing perspective, but this is a matter of opinion, not rivalry. We should not dwell on this as we move on. Failures are just stepping stones to great success. In this regard, we can look forward to Mr. Modi.
I deeply respect Shri Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister of India. His vision and faith inspire millions in our nation and resonate globally, making him a remarkable leader and an amiable human being.
