A house with a single window

I’d never have to beckon you over, you live freely in my mind. A house built so high.

My eyes tell you everything that you seek, accept it willingly.

My heart beats in a way that will mourn you forever, it aches when you hold me near

Do not forsaken me, my soul will rot and decay in despair.

My tongue is tied, though my actions flaunt it

Do not slip away, my attempts to grip you firmly, is as tight as ever.

I think my love lives in terror, in that house it’s the base.

My fear will be great forever. Will your love become all that I have known to chase?

A house with a single window, enough to let you breathe, but not enough to let you escape.
