A Girl In Denial

I am a girl, I am in denial,

I ask for love, I am left in denial,

I don’t take decisions cause I am in denial,

I don’t fly my wings off cause I am in denial,

I am a girl and I accept denial,

I am asked to love, to nurture, to care cause I am a girl,




I am asked to let my dreams go cause I am a girl,

I am a girl and I let myself live in denial,

But today I choose to think different,

Took a deep breath filled with acceptance,

I let my fears go off, and let my wings unfold,

I feel the freedom, gain my power,

Flying above the clouds, I embrace my true self,

I am a girl and no longer stay in denial.
