A Draining Day

A tiring day

Sitting by the window with a book on my lap,

Watching the pouring rain,

Trying to regain the focus i framed,

Reminding my brain the thoughts to be tossed,

Trying to focus but it's getting hard to not get lost,

However all i could think of was a quick nap,

i wonder what it feels like to be relaxed,

To feel your mind drift in a different part of the map,

Where your worries can't make you collapse.

For one day, I wish everything to just be axed

Cause it feels like my body has been prolapsed,

Not for a week, nor for a month,

Just for the weaks, just for once.
