My Inspiration: A Clay Diya

Fragile at first,

Like a piece of glass,

Each finger shapes its life,

Like diamond and a sharp knife.

It hardens over time,

I don’t know why but reminds me of stars in the sky,

Its vibrant colors shine,

Reminds me of when life was bright.

The clay diya,

Sitting on a desk,

One touch and its all over for him.
