A Call From Earth
By Devansha Dhanker
Traveling in the car alone,
Through the streets of the human throne.
I stopped at the red light,
And opened the window on my right,
Just to receive dust and smoke on my face,
Which made me cough till my destination place.
Then I stepped out of my car,
Just to know that the sun is not too far!
I thought that are we really building modern civilizations,
Or just cities filled with different types of pollutions?
It’s high time that we understand the worth
Of our pretty, petty earth.
Humans should understand the importance of everything,
Whether it’s water or a bird without wing.
Otherwise, the time isn’t far when even the inexpensive air,
Will have to be parted with neighbor.
It’s the time to cool down the earth,
And not to burn the hearth.
It’s the final time earth is calling us for help,
Otherwise, there won’t be present anyone to climb the Alp!
