A Book’s Magic

My eye’s feast on the cover,

My fingers brush against the pages,

Taken upon a journey of wonder,

all within a compacted pile of paper,

Elegant descriptions and tones,

With each chapter is a story to unfold,

As the climax builds,

The twists and turns hit like a race car track,

Nearing the end of this raging river,

it calms to tranquility,

As the pages come to a finale,

the book states its final salute,

Though it’s tragic,

Nothing compares to a books magic,
