A BEAUTIFUL DECEPTION

Filled with ecstasy,

your fake love impaired me.

A feeling i once had,

now just a wondering memory.

The gradual pain left a deep scare,

one that cannot be seen but felt within my bruised heart.

The love I had still makes me sick to the core, but I can’t get rid of how addictive is was before.

The faint scent of my resentment fills my days with animosity

How I wish we never met,

never crossed paths,

but I guess it was a lesson to be learned.
