Void

The time has come

Alas! The dark void has found me.

I can feel its claws tugging on my mind.

Some say that it gives you peace

Some say that it leaves you in vain

but all I can feel is the hollow pain

the edges of the wound, raw and bleeding,

I doubt it will ever heal.

I have stopped bothering

because I don’t think I’ll ever be able to make it seal.

Something big enough

at the same time nothing at all.

I don’t think I have a choice

except to drown in the dark.
