Pray

By Vedant Dhanjal

I don’t want to get drenched,

But the clouds are too dense.

Pray,

It does not rain today.

I would be out till the night,

Oh Helios! Keep your light bright.

Pray,

Nothing hinders my way.

There’s no umbrella in my bag,

In case, the clouds fall in stack.

Pray,

I am not left stranded and stray.

I would travel all through the city,

Oh Zeus! I deserve some pity.

Pray,

It does not rain today.
