What could possibly walk the night?

That makes me want to close my eyes..

What could possibly walk the night?

That makes me want to shut my blinds

What is it that creeps around?

That frightens me so

Could it be a thing with a talon or four

Could it be that it’s eyes glow pale yellow

Or that it’s teeth are point sharp

Whatever it is, I know

It will not let me sleep

Until I believe that it is

Definitely out to get me
