Love

Flitting, isn’t it - this love we so desire

Wanting to be held and cherished, kissed on the neck

This sweet nectar of love, it evades us all

Only a few are fortunate enough to have tasted it at all

On the quest to find said love, we look and look

Fancying ourselves that maybe this one is the one, but it’s never true

And again, we go with the hope that someday

The flower will bloom and take us away.
