I will build us a home.

With sharpened teeth and apple juice blood, with wildflowers and hands tethered to promises.

I will build us a home.

With crooked eyeliner and caramelized lips, with spiced hot chocolate and cherry twist.

I will build us a home.

With half melted candles and lipstick-stained glasses, with paints of different colours and handwoven rugs.

I will build us a home.

With pancakes for dinner and coffee so dark, with plants dripping down ceilings instead of chandeliers and fresh plucked fruits, always on the counter.

I will build us a home.

With no rules and no restrictions,

With impromptu trips and all the experiences, we have ever dreamt of

I will build us a home.

With forbidden passions and hidden away piano keys, with torn out diary pages and my favourite old sweater.

I will build us a home.
