Blue

By Mitushi Bhatt

Rain thundered upon the bus stand's roof, making plastic-y noises. She stood there with her umbrella open in front of her and dodged yet another puddle of slush flying at her.

At this rate, she was never getting to college, forget on time. Just as she took out her phone to check the schedule yet again, a car slowed down and pulled up in front of her.

She looked up, eyes wide and questioning. The driver ducked to look out the open window and met her eyes, "Need a lift?"

All she could see though was Blue. Why were they so blue?
