Sky

By Prashil Karapurkar

The sky tells a story

Of seasons that went by

Of starry night

And of birds, taking their first flight

The sky tells a story

Of the glory of day

Of the defeat of  night

And of evening, giving a tough fight

The sky tells a story

Of tyranny of  thunder

Of liberty of  rain

And of the wind, reviving  old pain

The sky tells a story

Of the end of a war

Of lamentation of the trope

And a beacon of hope
