Pry

By Anirudh Chopra

Pump of a gun and blistered skin,

with a grotesque face half of which was burnt

Pretending she heard nothing,

left the barn with a smile

To the westward South park

where little kids cry.

She who lived a marvelous life

Now her beauty was gone her relations destroyed

Had nothing to do except to pry…
