She sits near the window,

It is early, the sun still not risen.

Her wild hair open, jasmine bunched up in it

Her gold ear rings shine,playing hide and seek in the long shadows forming on her face.

Her head resting on her knees,




Her light ,delicately embroidered veil softly fluttering.

Everything is silent except the occasional call of birds, her long dreamy exhales and the continuous whir of the ceiling fan .

The first sun beams enter through the vents above the window, falling on the mirror

And then is visible in all its splendour the sparkle highlighted in her brown eyes turning hazel
