Me

I dived into the horrendous past,

They thought I was happy for the future.

I tried to hold my heart-wrenching tears,

They thought I just cried.

I welped in unfolding pain,

They thought they helped.

I winced in sorrow,

They jinxed my smile.

I faced my challenges,

They paced with their hurting words.

Then as though something hit me,

I realised that, in the end, it is always ME ..

I am always there to hold myself, during every fall ..
