15/04 - The Fall of Notre Dame

If you can read this, you are too close.

The metallic frame separates from the stained window.

The colours fall apart and a mosaic of shards lie in the shadow of the Cross.

Knees bending, piles start to form.

Smoky colours stretch out towards the horizon, holding together in a violent pull.

From its surface the colour strips, piece by piece.

Coming to a final halt, a single salted drop rises.

Breathe out.

Breathe in.

Let’s begin.
