Your love,

Your love for me comes in yellow,

Just how the Sun glistens after a week of storms.

Your love,

Your love for me comes in lilac,

Soothing my soul with all the bliss that twirls around the galaxy.

Your love,

Your love for me comes in turquoise,

Unfurling all the chaos and the noise.

But, your love for me loses all its colour at times when this heart needs a harbour.

Then it all rises up again like the sea calling out to Poseidon,

Splashing the water all around when the colour rises up again.

Then your love for me turns blue;

As you drift around on the fringes of those hues.

Your love for me is so menacing

That the red in your eyes shred the pink of my world.
