Is It Really Beautifull

People are romanticizing loneliness too much, making it sound poetic and beautiful.

And at first, you would believe it. You are going to prioritize those novels and movies which talks about how good it is to be by yourself, over the love stories you used to read and the 'bollywood-romantic movies' you were fan of.

You are going to make yourself feel that it's a kind of freedom where you are not stuck with one person and are free to flirt with anyone and everyone. You will start hanging out with friends more than ever before and make fun of those who are dating someone.

Stalking the profiles of solo-travellers, listening to various podcasts and dancing crazily every night, untill you gets tired and falls asleep at once has become your daily routine.

But later that night when you were lying down on the bed good for two, you ask yourself is it really beautiful? Or we just gave it a fancy, aesthetic and artsy kind of appearance, write poems and songs about it to make us and others feel better about being alone, but what if, in reality, there is absolutely nothing gorgeous about it? But then you'll scratch that thought to make yourself believe that you don't need anyone to be happy, and you are whole on your own.

But somewhere, Somewhere in the back of your mind, someone is whispering that it wouldn't hurt to have some company.
