Fate of free will? It’s been an old-age contradictory viewpoints among humans of today. However I firmly belief that free will comes before fate. Free will is the ability of individuals to create a future for themselves. It is not based on a vague estimate on what can happen but a well-rounded holistic advancement towards what should happen. I believe in the fact that working hard will provide much better outcomes than waiting to achieve some unrealistic possibility of a goal without seldom working for it.
Free will is taking matter into one’s own hands and thinking strategically. To achieve something, one has to work for it.
Nothing comes on a silver platter. For example, to do well in an examination the student requires to study. To get into
Shape, a person requires to go to a gym or do home work-outs. To fit into a new place, a person has to adapt to the changing circumstances. Although, some people may get lucky sometimes, we shouldn’t let that fool us. Leaving something
Up to fate is just a coin toss. It may either work or not. To guarantee success, it is vital to work for it.
Moreover, fate is a predestined will. It may work in the favor of us or not. It is advisable to not leave everything to fate when we can strive to achieve what we have been yearning for.
“A man can do what he wants, but he cannot want what he wants.” – Arthur Schopenhauer.
This quote represents an interesting connection of our ability to make choices and choose as we please. Fate is the larger picture, an unavoidable destiny set upon everyone. Free will is the leash that you have from fate.
According to the definition, fate is the “development of events beyond a person’s control, regarded as determined by a
Supernatural power.” The distinction is clear:The only way that humans can see the difference between fate and free will is if their fate is known.
Therefore, I conclude by saying free will is a much more beneficial than that of fate.
