Empty Temples, Full Wineshops

By Barkha Poptani

A day with the dim light and sober night

A robotic servant served the dinner right

There came a day where cars are flying

The humans are growing

There's no place for hardship neither for spiritual concern

A day came where the brains turned to memory disk

And the body to a hard drive

The temples to wineshop

And the families to the solemn shire

Hangouts to general meetings

Talking technology to shutting mouths

Hope there are clouds even visible tonight

Hope the stars align, the orion binds

This is a day where the wineshops are full, the temples are out of sight

This is a day of mechanic human, a pacemaker heart with the wires of current in plenty and a error less insight
