Colours Preventing Tragedy

A day goes by without a trace,

Of snowflakes jumping down from clouds,

Or maybe, they did come down from space.

I don’t know for I hear no sounds.

I see no sights, I walk no roads

But all I do, is paint my thoughts.

I paint my voice in scarlet red,

I tie my time with rigid knots.

I freeze the colours that fly around,

The colours I feel, but cannot see.

The colours that in my soul once drowned,

The colours preventing tragedy.
