Colours Of Spring

The greens are brighter

My steps are lighter

'Cause there's a little spring in them


When it's so breezy

The paths seem easy

'Cause there's a bit of spring in them


The brightest orange on the Gulmohar trees

The camera can't capture what the eye really sees

'Cause there's a hint of spring in them





Even the lotuses' palest pinks

Seem to be inked with some brighter inks

Like a stroke of Spring's paintbrush touched them


The quickest flash of a vibrant blue

Skimming the waters, the kingfisher flew

It knows in it's heart; like we all do

The air and the ripples ~ Spring's in them


And then my thoughts so naturally flow

To the riot of red flowers on branches hanging low

Who's hues make sure to let us know ~

You guessed it right ~ Spring's in them 😊
