A Deadman's Obsequies

By Anselm Neorah Shewithi

Nothing seemed as bright as funeral pyre

Deadman’s body covered in grand attire

He is neither rich nor poor

But a great man with power.

Can be a Robin hood,

But he didn't have a livelihood.

Known for his pure soul

Now burnt with coal

Tears clinging to eyelashes

His body into fire ashes.

Loved his wife more,

His heart stays with her forever more....
