Hope

Hoping is like a topping on a cake,
Work hard and wait for the finest bake.
Sometimes delicious it turns,
At times clumsily it burns.
Even a caged Bird hopes for freedom,
All the humans crave for stardom.
Not everyone has the luxury of garden,
But working hard will brighten your carbon.
Dwell is the present,
Aspire for a better tomorrow.
Don’t lend or borrow,
Only then your hopes will shoot like an arrow.
For only a human can bring despair,
But hope needs and effort and dare.
An effort to be a super human,
To keep the flame of hope burn.
