Kabhi mere pass aaogee kya,

Kabhi meri baat par muskuraogi kya,

Kabhi mujhe apna dost bataogi kya,

Kabhi mujhe tum chun paogi kya,


Kabhi tumhe bhi to takleef hoti hogi,

Kabhi tumhari aankhein bhi to roti hongi,

Un takleefon mei mujhe yaad kar paogi kya,

Kabhi mujhse tum phir mil paogi kya,



Kabhi tum mera zikr galti se kar paogi kya,

Kabhi tum phir se nazarein milaogi kya.

Kabhi tum mujhe apnaogi kya,

Kabhi tum ye baat jahan se keh paogi kya,


Mai to shayar hu janab shabdon mei apni baat keh jata hu,

Kabhi meri tarah tum bhi shi shabd chun paogi kya,

Shi shabdon ko chalo jaane dete hai ,

Kabhi tum mere shabd dauhraogi kya?
