She could glow in the dark when

there was no light in me.

Her smile was like an antidote.

It could blossom like a flower which resembled

a tropical scent that could reverberate the forest.

Her eyes sparkled at me when I could see

only venom in people’s vision.

I was forgotten,

Pain, grief, and sadness had

overcrowded my body-

But she made me content.

Years have gone by,

and now she is the one lost.

Lost in the dreary land that suffocates her.

What must I do to glow in the dark when

there is no light in her?
