Writing For Being Judged

I come to my poetry
With my eyes a little teary
Knowing it will not judge me like the rest did
By the window and under the moonlight I sit;
I start to rhyme about all that I hear
From being laughed at my height -short as a tiny tot
To never being pampered at home like the youngest child;
My poetry gives me rhymes
Doesn't ask what is the time;
Yet I am over here
Writing or rhyming for being judged
You may find my words as short as my height
Do not betray me like they did in the light;
I have been waiting to watch the sun rise
Since then I have only been writing about it when the moon up in the sky arise;
This is my love for my art
Tell me if you love it,
For I have penned it down only from my heart.
