Beauty And The Beast

By Tanishq Vasania

She is not your ordinary girl looking for a prince charming

or a knight in shinning armor to come for her and sweep her off her feet.

She does not desire castles or jewels,

She craves mountains and wildness.

She is not a damsel in distress, she is a fighter a warrior herself.

She does not want the mundane things,

She desires adventures and explorations.

She is a breath of fresh air, a wild beauty.

She never belonged to the conventional world; she was born for the wildness of the nature.

Maybe because of her wild spirits and free soul;

She didn’t need a prince or knight.

But what her heart desired was to be loved by a beast.

A beast who could love her the way she deserves to be loved,

Without any bounds, restrictions or conditions.

A beast to love her wild nature, to adore and cherish her boldness and fierceness.

The untamed beast for this untamed beauty,

who would ensure that her wild heart would always be safe with him

For this beauty had always belonged to the beast.
