The Diary Of A Sausage

By Janisha Johri

Once there was a little boy, named Luke, who was feeling very hungry. He ate a strawberry flavored chocolate, but he was still feeling hungry. Later on he ate a chicken sausage. While Luke was simply chewing, this sausage named Chisau, was experiencing what all was happening to him. Now the sausage had reached his stomach, where it was slowly being digested. This chicken sausage had a habit of writing a diary and while it was being digested, it started writing his diary on what happened when he first entered Luke’s mouth.

He wrote, “When I first entered Luke’s mouth, I was broken into many small

pieces by his teeth. I observed that there were different types of teeth. The ones in the front which sort of attacked me first were the incisors; they usually bite and grind the food. The next were canines. They were very pointy and they tore me into further smaller pieces. The next were premolars, which grinded me further, followed by molars which were very flat and strong. They crushed me entirely and turned me into very small pieces as if I were small nuggets. I also made a new friend, strawberry flavored chocolate. Her name is Strawry. Even she was eaten by Luke and reached here before me. After that, I was thrown in a long pipe which seemed like a long slide after which I reached here. I was pushed by a pink thing called tongue, he was very soft and plushy but he pushed me in the slide called the food pipe. Now I am being turned into powder by acids in the stomach. It was a nice experience and I am really excited to see what happens further with Strawry. Bye!”
