The Shadow's Bond.

Updated: Jul 18, 2025

By Aksa Shafi

In the darkest night, where shadows play,

One truth remains, come what may.

The shadow does not leave its maker's side,

Through the darkest light, it stands, a constant guide.

Through trials and tribulations, it stays near,

A reflection of the soul, always clear.

In moments of joy, in moments of strife,

The shadow remains, a constant in life.

It walks with you through every test,

A silent companion, always at its best.

It sees your deepest fears, your highest highs,

And yet it stays, a loyal shadow, never to demise.

So don't try to escape, don't try to hide,

For in the darkness, your shadow will reside.

It's a part of you, a piece of your soul,

A reminder of your strength, your heart's goal.

In the darkest light, it stands as one,

A bond between you, forever won.

So embrace your shadow, don't let it hide,

For in its darkness lies a strength inside.

Through every storm, through every fall,

Your shadow remains, standing tall.

It's a symbol of your resilience and might,

A reminder that you can face the dark of night.

So don't be afraid, don't try to flee,

For your shadow is a part of you, a part of your destiny.

It's a reminder of your power, your inner light,

A guiding force, that leads you through the darkest night.

In the silence, listen to its voice,

A whisper of truth, a heartfelt choice.

It's a call to embrace, your whole self, complete,

To love and accept, your shadow, your soul, your heart's beat.
