Strayed in The Woods

Updated: Jul 16, 2025

By Pooshika S

Surrounded by woodland,

Resembled a Wonderland.

Starry night in the gaze,

Retired my laze.

Taking pleasure in the wonder,

While sorrow surrenders.

Drifting away in ponder,

Unstable, I wander.

Strayed in the woods,

Secured in my hood.

When sorrow bounces back,

Starry night turns black.

Never knew about how it evolved-

Into the night that seems to revolve.

Strayed in the woods,

With stained boots.

Witnessed it once again,

It was the Wonderland again.

There it was, all I ever wanted,

The wish that was granted.

To see the beautiful landscape,

Journey of my great escape.

With scars and wounds

With trauma that bounds.
