Shattered Dreams

Belts fastened and heads leaned back,

Eyes closed in peace no thoughts to unpack,

The sun shine bright and the sky pleased the mind,

But no one knew the twist behind.


The plane rose and the lives froze,

 dreams got shattered that no one chose.

The headlines were filled with terrifying news, 

and eyes of people turned to horrific views.


No signs,No warnings, no final clues

The world stood still when the silence grew,

What once held dreams now hold the blues.…
