Optical Illusion

Some eyes are beautiful,

Some eyes are deep,

Some are so colourful,

Some are just bleak.

A complicated life,

With a curtain of eyes,

Some have that curtain closed,

Some like the light,

Some know how to read them ,some do not,

Some let them read ,some covers a lot.

Not all have the valour,

To let their walls down,

Not all can do so,

Neither can all wear the crown,

Some can lie throughout

But some pairs of eyes do find out.

At last we would just say goodbyes,

To the person with glossy star eyes,

Or the person it is with hatred indeed,

Or maybe the person with eyes so deep,

That person could be anything outside,

But the curtains once opened, can open your eyes.

The lenses that are cleared,

You’re unaware of,

Of how they are cleaned,

With water, tears or hope,

With air or maybe just steamed,

You and I aren’t oblivious for sure,

We know it’s tears and nothing else at all.
