No Expectations

Oh Lord! Did I ask for too much?

That you avoid my prayers,

Like passing dust.

Have I become so insignificant in your eyes?

That how hard I try,

I tend to fail every single time.

Do I not deserve any love?

Or you hate me so very much,

To see me in such lifeless life.

Even if I avoid problems,

It’s always me getting hate,

Even if I spoke no words.

Then I start thinking that I’ll hate you now

But, look at my fate

It’s always my faith for you which lives and dies.
