Caption Of Artwork: The artwork is about breaking down into pieces, destroying yourself slowly, entertaining the idea of their suffering being beautiful, popularised by poets like Edgar Allan Poe. It presents an almost ceramic like face brutally disfigured with cracks of gold and blue in between, romanticising the look of blood and scars. It makes suffering look like beauty.
