I Shall Conquer

Updated: Jul 12, 2025

By Yatish Naik

Rousing waves struck my life

On a full sea of hope

My inner voice whispered,

‘Let your ship not befriend them

    Cut through them to cope’

Thence I firmed,

I will ride the crest

I will vanquish the waves

I shall set the trail ablaze

I shall conquer through life’s maze
