Fall's Palette

By Sejal Aarunya

It’s that time of the year,

When the world loses

Its green sheen and wears

the blanket of orange

Suddenly the sun does not feel too warm

the sweat does not last long

No more bees to buzz

and the flowers all gone.

Autumns palette colors the world perfectly

the rustle of wind

brings the essence of vanilla

and poets take refuge

in the shelves of oxford.

It’s the season of experiencing

Hogwarts witchcraft and wizardry

the time when Gilmore Girls comes on screen

and cookies are baked.

It’s the time of the year

when the world works

in a perfect rhythm and is

presented in its most breath-taking form.
