மனிதம்

நிலவும் நாணுரும்

முகிலின் பின்னே ஒடியோடி ஒளிந்திடும்

தொடுதிரை பார்த்து பழகிய கண்களோ

முதல் முறை அன்று தான் பார்த்திருக்கும்

இதுவரை இல்லாதது போல்

வீட்டார் அனைவரும் கூடியிருப்பர்

பல வித வித கதைகள் பேசி கதையாட

இவரது குரல் இப்படி தான் இருக்குமா என

ஹெட்ப்ஹோனின் வடங்களுக்குள்ளே சிக்கி கிடந்த

செவிகளும் மூக்கில் விரலை வைக்கும்

மகிழ்ச்சியில் அனைவரும் நகைப்பதை கண்டு

இத்தனை நாளும் சாப்பிட மட்டும் திறந்த இதழ்களும்

நேற்றிரவு ரொட்டியுடன் உண்ட கீறை கறை தெரியுமளவு

தலைகீழாக திருப்பிப்போட்ட வானவில் கீற்றை போல

இந்த காதுக்கும் அந்த காதுக்கும் பாலமாக விரிந்திருக்கும்

இப்படி இதுதான் வாழ்க்கை இதுதான் மனிதம் என அனைவரும் மறந்ததையெல்லாம்

முகத்தில் ஈ வந்தமர்ந்ததை காண் சப்பென்று அறைந்தது போல்

புகட்டுவாய் எனில், இனி நீ வந்தால் நொடியேனும் எரிச்சலடையேன்

வீட்டை இருளாக்கிய மின்வெட்டே
