बंध खिड़की और दरवाज़े।

(It is a poem about social anxiety. The poem is narrated in the form of a story where two people are just separated by heart’s door. 

One is carrying a bag full of ‘words of first conversation’. And the one inside is a prisoner of thoughts.) 


बंध खिड़की और दरवाज़े।

तालों से जकड़े हुए।


खिड़की के उस तरफ़ एक शख्स,

इंतज़ार में,

हाथों में

पहली वार्तालाप के शब्दों

का बोरा लिए। 


पहली दस्तक....


दूसरी दस्तक...

खिड़की के उस तरफ़ एक शख्स,

अपने ही चार दीवारों के अंदर 

क़ैद।


तीसरी दस्तक.....


बड़े लंबे इंतज़ार के बाद। 

क़ैदी सुनता हैं,

चुनता हैं 

समेटता हैं

ज़मीन पर बिखरे हुए

साहस के टुकड़ों को। 



दरवाजा खोला

तो मिला बस

फर्श पर एक 

खाली बोरा

जहां वार्तालाप का पुनर्विराम था।



दरवाजा और खिड़की 

एक बार फिर से बंध हुए।

उस क़ैदी को एक बार फिर से

क़ैदी बनाने के लिए।
